The Pious Association “Luisa Piccarreta P.F.D.V.” located in Corato, was founded on July, 1987 with the purpose of keeping the figure of Luisa Piccarreta , called “Luisa la Santa”, alive, as a soul that more than anyone else fully lived the Divine Will and died in odor of sanctity on March, 4, 1947.

From the moment of its foundation, the Pious Association has done its utmost to spread Luisa’s spirituality all over the world, with great efforts and patient work.

The specific aims of the Association are:

“The association has as its aim the standing formation of its members towards an authentically Christian life, the initiation and elevation of spirit and the practice of prayer, especially the repairing one; the deepening of Luisa’s genuine teachings about this spirituality, always in the obedience to the authority of the Church”. (art. 3 of Statute)

Groups living the Divine Will, associations and/or pseudo associations, single lay and religious persons interested in the figure of Luisa have been springing up in Italy and all over the world. They promote meetings, conferences, work groups etc. , and use media (books, magazines, radio, internet etc.) to talk about Luisa and her diaries.

Fino ad oggi si è fatto decisamente poco per dare chiarezza a questa grande confusione e a questa mancanza di coesione fra tutti coloro che parlano della sua dottrina.

E' il caso di affermare: "Ognuno fa come crede".

The Pious Association “Luisa Piccarreta P.F.D.V.”, is the only one canonically approved with decree (march 4, 1987) issued by the Archbishop Mons. Giuseppe Carata, which authorizes it to spread the figure of Luisa and her doctrine in its integrity. The Association is working, as usual, with the utmost honesty, to transmit the knowledge of Luisa and of her writings in a clear and coherent way.

Thanks to this coherence the number of its sympathizers and members has constantly grown in Italy and abroad. Meetings, congresses and conferences are organized regularly on the various occasions during the year.

Several pilgrims come from all parts of Italy and from abroad to visit our holy places.

All this suggests the opportunity to set up , as established during the meetings with interested people belonging to the existing groups, branches of the Pious Association in substitution of the groups themselves, as next points of reference for all those who need contact with Luisa.

Through this short message we want to invite all those who are close to Luisa Luisa to get in touch with us for any questions or problems and to consider the central seat in Corato (BA) – Italy, as the only interlocutor at the moment.
